How to Set Up Your Base IP Uploader

Step 1 Connect to Your Network

Plug the Base IP Uploader into your network using Ethernet (RJ45).

Ethernet model: plug directly into your router or network switch.

Step 2 Power the Device

The device can be powered using:

USB-C power adapter
5V / 2A recommended

Step 3 Enter Your Unique Link ID and CRC code

Each device comes with a Unique Link ID and CRC code. Go to:

https://testsitefortesting.dnstheworld.com/app/dnstool/

Enter the Link ID and CRC code. This will link the device to your account. This activates automatic IP updates.

Step 4 Add Your DNS Service

You can connect one or more DNS services (example: No-IP, dvrlists, etc):

Go to your DNS The World dashboard.
Select Add DNS Service.
Enter your DNS login or API key.
Done — the uploader will update it automatically.

Step 5 Test

You can check the logs to see the check-in

If you see it, your setup is complete!
